Bill Mahar, as a principal, has practiced architecture with emphasis on commercial and residential projects since 1974. Projects included rehabilitation, additions, and new construction. His depth of understanding of all aspects of a project, from planning through construction, is his strongest asset.
Bill was a principal with the San Francisco-based architectural firms of MBM Group, Mahar & Moulton, and Moulton & Clark for sixteen years. Many of his completed projects have dealt with historic restoration and/or preservation, seismic strengthening, ADA accessibility, life safety, mechanical and electrical engineered systems. His construction background and attention to detail have produced a chronicle of successful commercial, retail, interior, and residential projects.
Bill is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Construction Specification Institute, National Trust for Historic Preservation, and a registered architect in California.
